What you can do
Start with the moments, even without a score
Create a local album without needing a round record or an account for local organization. Add photos and videos, edit the album, mark favorites and move or merge collections when a day's memories belong together.
Let capture details help you sort
Auto-find can use the original capture time and available location metadata to suggest a course and date grouping. Review the suggestions before importing. When location is missing or a course match is uncertain, you stay in control of the selection.
Keep local and shared collections distinct
Newly imported media is copied into app-managed storage on the device. Local organization does not automatically upload your files. Sharing has a separate confirmation and upload flow that prepares a web viewer for the chosen album.

Start from the album area or the round's album entry. A local album can be created even when you have not saved a scorecard.

Import the media you want to keep together, or review auto-find suggestions based on available capture details. Check the course and date yourself.

Review the imported items, edit the album and mark favorites. Move or merge albums when you want to bring related moments together.

Use the explicit album share action and review the confirmation. Keep a connection available for upload, then check the resulting viewer before passing on the link.

A golf trip with several rounds
Separate each day's media by course and date instead of leaving all the images mixed in the camera roll. Review the suggested groupings, especially if two courses are close together or some photos have no location.
Photos from a day you did not score
A practice visit, a short outing or a round without a saved scorecard can still have an album. Create the collection locally and keep the scenery and swing clips together without inventing a round record.
Are my photos uploaded as soon as I add them?
No. Local import and organization do not automatically upload newly added media. Upload is part of the explicit album sharing flow, after its confirmation.
Can I organize an album without logging in?
Yes. Local album creation, editing, viewing and organization can be used without an account or a round record. Online sharing and server-based actions may have their own requirements.
Will my album appear automatically on another phone?
No. Local storage is specific to the device, and automatic cross-device synchronization is not promised. Keep another copy of important media; sharing a viewer is a separate action from a device backup.
